We went here for my daughters 18th bday dinner and We loved it!!! Food is delicious, great portions for sharing and the drinks Amazing!!! We had the Aguachiles and Coliflower salad to start, very pleased with both. For dinner we had Carnitas and Mole, shared with 4 people, this was a lot of food, we brought home leftovers and enjoyed them! Food quality is excellent. Oh and Diosa & Co, the drink did not disappoint, beautiful presentation!

A little late, but still. Went here a little while back, their first Monday open in over a year. Had a great adventure here! Was a little nervous when we arrived to see the interior decor and a few of the menu items. Thought we bit off more than we could chew. Then, Lisa came over. She was a champ! We were able to go through the menu with her, and she really helped ease our minds, especially with a family of 4, and 2 adventurous little ones. The atmosphere felt classy, yet relaxed. The quality of the food was incredible. Lisa (who I kept calling Tina because I'm horrible with names), kept our glasses full, our bellies satisfied with her recommendations, and our faces smiling and laughing all evening. Honestly, we discussed leaving because we felt uncomfortable before she arrived at our table. After talking with her, staying felt like a great choice, and we were very happy we did. It's been over a month and we're still raving about our meal and Lisa's service! Looking forward to coming back to try some more from the menu. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Vintage Fashion - it tastes really good, and has a wonderful presentation (much like everything else they do here)!

The food was amazingly delicious and the presentation along with the name of alcohol beverages were spectacular and very chic & cute and definitely quench worthy ladies;). The front desk hostess along with the server was super sweet and definitely worth the moment of my experience at Diosa. I believe ladies know the assignment when the girlies gather to have a good time and enjoy themselves because so many of the lady staff members stopped to ask to step in and help take our photos of our rememberable night. Thank you Diosa so much for making this my friend birthday a special night to remember.

Came to Diosa for the first time tonight with my husband to celebrate our anniversary and the food service was amazing! The host Natasha was so friendly and accommodated us when we wanted to move tables. She took a lovely picture of us. We later ordered these delicious street tacos! Our server Jorge was so informative about the menu and gave great recommendations. Such a lovely place can't wait to come back soon!!

My girlfriend and I decided to have a nice dinner out yesterday after work and ended up having one of the best dates we've ever had partially due to the amazing food we were brought in a beautiful restaurant but mainly because of our incredible server Alejandro, going above and beyond to ensure that my girlfriend and I were comfortable, happy with our food, checking to see if we needed refills and was just an all around great guy to have met and talked to, genuinely cannot stress how great our experience was because of him and will most definitely be coming back because like I said the food and restaurant were both amazing and the service was beyond perfect ‼‼

Diosa has such a modern and chic interior. It's kept tidy and well-managed. This is one of our go-to spots around Downey, and it never disappoints. The staff are efficient and attentive. For this visit, we tried the Fettuccine Del Mar, Diosa Guacamole, and Mango Habanero Aguachile. Fettuccine del mar: The noodles are cooked perfectly, and the parmesan cheese is fantastic. The noodles and the cheese are mixed in front of you, which is unique. The chicken was fresh and grilled to perfection. Tableside chile flakes and herbs are also served along with garlic bread, which goes well with the pasta. Diosa guacamole: It has such a rich flavor you can taste the freshness of the guacamole in every bite. Mango habanero aguachile: the salsa is perfect and refreshing, and the shrimp pieces are fresh.

What elegance DIOSA offers! It provides a great ambiance and packs a punch with its visual wow factor. This is the place to bring your date for a nice dinner. -The Food We tried the protein bowl and the steak empanadas. The food was excellent, with special emphasis on the steak empanadas, they were delicious. -The Service We visited for lunch around 1:30 pm and sat at the bar. It didn't take long for me to strike up a conversation with the bartender, Luis. He was very friendly and attentive. After hearing what I was in the mood for, he quickly provided menu recommendations. Remembering that I had a couple of wine bottles in the car, I took advantage of their $25 corking fee, which was great. -The Ambiance The place exudes elegance and is a perfect spot for a nice date. I was pleasantly surprised. I initially thought this place might not suit a lunchtime vibe and might be best reserved for a nice evening dining experience. However, my friend and I had a great time sitting at the very nice bar and enjoyed the meal selection from the lunch menu. Great job, DIOSA!

I came to DIOSA to celebrate a friend's birthday a few weeks ago. I made a reservation, thinking it would be busy on a Sunday night -- but it was relatively slow. After a bit of waiting, we got seated at a booth (it's a very tall seating area LOL) near the bar. Luckily, we came on a Sunday which also means: all day happy hour! I ordered off the goddess hour menu and got the corn taquitos ($15) while my friends got the steak empanadas, protein bowl, and quesadillas. Moscatos were also ordered and they were incredibly light and sweet! One thing for sure is that their portion sizings are generous. I thought the corn taquitos would come out small, but they were way bigger than expected and actually filled me up! I ended up bringing home leftovers and my overall meal was good! My friends all liked their dishes too, but we noted that the steak empanadas were underwhelming. My group and I really liked the vibe at DIOSA! They offer a sophisticated and elegant, yet inviting aesthetic with chic decor. There was even a fully lined wall with clase azul bottles, which I thought was a super fun touch. The server was nice and attentive, he surprised us and bought out a slice of cake for my friend in honor of her birthday! My only note in terms of service is that we could tell they were trying to rush us out the door -- even though the restaurant was slow and it was only 9pm. The server came by like clockwork, literally asking us every 5 minutes if we needed anything else. It got so excessive to the point that the manager came over to introduce himself to us for no particular reason...we got the hint LOL. In all, DIOSA's food may not be the selling point of the place, but the vibes and ambience are what definitely makes it. Otherwise, I don't see it standing out too much compared to other Mexican restaurants tbh. It's a solid place to drink and hangout -- but beware that they'll most likely try to run you out the door if you end up staying long!
